Somnath Bharti was newly appointed as Aam Admi Party (AAP) in charge for south zone. He visited Tirumala temple today. After having darshanam in the temple, he interacted with media to discuss few things. Somnath said AAP will prove its stamina in the south too in the coming Lok Sabha elections, adding they will have tie-ups with local parties with similar agenda and opinions. When asked will his party have an engagement with Power Star Pawan Kalyan's Jana Sena Party, he replied, "Who is Powerstar Pawan Kalyan.  I don't even know his name." This movement stunned the media over there.

Being an in-charge to a south zone for a National Party, Somnath Bharti must know about influential parties and famous personalities when going for the alliance, opine political analysts. "Who is Powerstar Pawan Kalyan". Although Pawan Kalyan is not a national figure, he is popular down south with tremendous fans crazy and because of his charity works. Pawan Kalyan hit headlines when announced to float a political party. Then, he was again in the news when Narendra Modi met him before 2014 elections. In fact, Pawan Kalyan was one of the prime reasons for TDP winning a maximum of seats in AP in the last elections. Meanwhile, Pawan Kalyan who is preparing up for his new film in Dolly's direction will mostly do two more projects. Then, he is expected to spend full time in growing his Jana Sena party which will compete in next elections in 2019.

Karimnagar to be trifurcated; Jagitial, Sircilla new Districts.



Karimnagar: Despite the continuous protests over the consolidation of certain mandals in the proposed new districts, the process of the trifurcating district has almost come to an end. Collector Neetu Prasad prepared a draft report on this exercise. With this exercise reaching  the final stage, two more districts, Jagtial, and Sircilla, will be a reality soon. It is learned that Ms. Neetu Prasad along with some officials worked on the draft report till midnight of Sunday. As per the report, the creation of 17 new mandals was proposed. At present the district has 57 mandals. Now, the total number of mandals is 74. Among them, 13 mandals are going to be included in the proposed new districts situated in neighboring districts. The remaining 61 mandals will be allocated to Karimnagar, Jagtial and Sircilla districts. Karimnagar district has 27 mandals while the new entities would account for 20 and 14 mandals respectively. The decision on the controversial merger of Choppadandi, Ganga-Dhara and Ramagudu is left to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao.
Five mandals such as Malhar Rao, Kataram Mahamuttaram, Maha-devapur and Palimela, one of the new mandals, will be merged with the proposed Bhupalapalli district to be formed out of Warangal. Similarly, six mandals namely Huzu-rabad, Kamalapur, Jammikunta, Illantha-kunta (New), Elkath-urthy, Bheema-devarapalli, will become part of Warangal  district. At the same time, Koheda and Husnabad mandals would be integrated with the new Siddipet district.  Besides, seven villages of Bejjenki mandal will also be included in this new reality. However, authorities are likely to make certain changes in the draft report as per suggestions of Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao.

Meanwhile, a division of workforce for deploying in these three districts has also been completed. A total of 7,732 employees is working with various departments in the district’s administration mechanism. Out of them, 2,085 employees were allocated to Karimnagar, while Jagtial and Sircilla districts were earmarked with 2,072 and 2,053 employees, respectively. People of several mandals continued to stage protests, opposing the merger of their places in new districts. Residents of Gangadhara mandal conducted Vanta Vaarpu on Jagtial-Karimnagar road, against the inclusion of their mandal in Sircilla district. Citizens of Kodimial mandal represented Jagtial sub-collector, urging him not to integrate their mandal in the new entity.
