As expected 'Brahmotsavam' is a perfect family entertainer. The film has a dream cast with consists of experienced actors like Jayasudha, Satyaraj, Revathi and many others. Mahesh Babu said that everything was fine but the main problem was with heroines. He explained that after roping in Samantha and Pranitha, we approached other heroines for Kajal's role.
After listening that there were two heroines already, many of them rejected this film even without listening to the story. After getting rejected by many heroines, the script went into the hands of Kajal. When she listened to the script, she was impressed by it and immediately accepted the film. This made the makers very happy and Mahesh thanked Kajal and Samantha for accepting this role. But, rejecting a film without listening to the script is something awkward. Isn't it?
