In the second week of July, Tamil Star hero Vikram's daughter Akshita got engaged to Manu Ranjith, son of Cavin Kare's owner Ranganathan and great-grandson of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi. Even though the wedding date was not announced, it is heard that the marriage is to be in the next year.

According to the recent reports arisen from Kollywood, Akshita met her friends at a famous ice cream parlor in town and spent some decent time with them.
