Niharika's introduction Oka Manasu ended up as a big disaster as the movie supposed to have incurred over Rs 3 Crore losses to its distributors. The romantic drama did a pre-release business of 4 to 4.5 Crore thanks to the hype on mega heroine Niharika. However, it failed to turn into box office success as the film didn't happen well at the ticket windows.
Surprisingly, the film's openings were good all over and got more than expected bucks. But it didn't last long and it saw a drastic dip in its collections due to poor reviews and bad word-of-the-mouth. It needs to be seen how these losses would be repaid. Now reports are common that Niharika may team up with Harshavardhan Rane for an emotional drama where the pair will be seen as siblings. However, Niharika is yet to give her nod.
