Mumbai: Malayalam film director Sanal Kumar Sasidharan's abusive comments on India’s first female silver medallist, PV Sindhu, has received public flak.
Sanal had said that he would spit on Olympic silver medallist PV Sindhu. While the entire nation has been celebrating Sindhu's historic achievement, the filmmaker wrote on the Facebook wall in Malayalam, "Everyone is celebrating Sindhu's achievement now. What if I spit on this? What is there to celebrate much about it?"
